Re: brings back memories (Reply to this comment)

This is twice today this has been brought up. To tell you the truth I love it these days and actually have it for my son. Although back then it used to scare me in Campfire Girls. I could still hear them tapping there knees when they start running. It used to give me goose bumps. This one I will have to get. I have another version with a cd for my son right now. But, am trying to share with him parts of my past as well.

this chant with my mom when I was a kid and later as a scout leader. This pop up version sounds fantastic. Thanks so much for reviewing it. Now I have a great kid's book in mind for birthday gifts and so forth.
PS
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Super Pickle (Reply to this comment)
by pestyside, in Books
Some time ago (long time ago) I had a great pop-up book called Super Pickle, (who happened to be faster than a steaming potato, could leap tall celery stalks in a single bound, etc) and my three boys loved it. That was our first pop-up book and ever since I've been a fan. This sounds wonderful.

I'm not afraid... (Reply to this comment)

I'll be finding a copy of this for my (soon-to-be) stepson to peruse. This sounds fabulous, and he's currently really exciting about trying to catch a 'rat-toon' (racoon) with my dad while both of them sport their camo outfits, so I know this would be a hit with him. Thanks for the suggestion :)
Great, fabulous, wonderful review!
