Pros:Superb story, written wonderfully.
Cons:not a one.
The Bottom Line: I would absolutely recommend this book. The writing is excellent and though the story is fiction it feels like it could almost be real. You'll love it.
I never read love stories convinced that it was something that sappy housewives did. Then one day my mom handed me a Nora Roberts book and I was hooked. Born in Fire is one of the first Nora Roberts books I bought myself.

It's about a girl name Maggie who's an artist. She lives in town in Ireland where everything is simple and beautiful. Early on in the book Maggie loses her father just as she's starting to come into her own as far as her art is concerned. She has a bitter old mother with who doesn't believe in her and sadly blames Maggie for ruining her life just by being born. She also has an older sister Brianna who dutifully takes care of their mother and rarely if ever puts Maggie before their mother's needs. Along comes the rich and handsome man by the name of Rogan who wants to sell Maggie's art and steal her heart.
It was a superb story that was wonderfully written. I found it real and magical all at once. The way she writes of Ireland makes you want to journey there yourself just to see it. A wonderful start to an excellent trilogy.
Can't wait to read it again.
