Born in Shame

Written: Feb 19, 2005

Pros:If you only read this one it might be a good book.
Cons:Book one and two had more feeling and emotion.

Born in Shame was an alright book. If you are a Nora Roberts fan, you might not be thrilled.

The last book in the series of three, was slow and boring. I did not connect with Shannon at all. She did not have the passion or fire as Maggie and Brianna.

I cried for Brianna in book two, but felt nothing for Shannon. I kept thinking Murphy could do better.

The Mother bothered me the most in this one. How could her husbands illegitimate child change her more than her own blood? Just wasn't right.
