We bought the Bosch after our 12 year old GE profile started to have pieces falling off during the wash cycle, although we could stick them back on, figured it was time to replace it. Did some research and shopped around for the best prices. Decided that we wanted to go with a really energy efficient machine that was also quiet. With the quick wash we really don't need any of the other settings since the dishes always come out really clean. The interior stays bright and shiny with our hard water. Took a bit of getting used to just because it loads differently, but that was more about human error than the machine. If your not familiar with wiring you should have someone else install it. I thought it was weird that Sears wanted to sell us a power cord. Silly me thinking an appliance should come with a cord. Not too hard to install if your somewhat handy with basic plumbing and wiring.
