Pros: Heat on all burners, Propane high-temperature, Clean up, Electric oven size, Style, Construction...
Cons: Mechanical oven dial(s) would be better. No big deal.
Give this one an award! The Bosch Integra HDI7282U/01 slide-in is absolutely the best stove I have ever owned. Previous electric and gas cookers of the purportedly "finest" brands have been frustrating. Bosch must have employed chefs to direct designers. Visually, it has the style of other slide-in ranges selling for twice the price without the ostentatious overkill and the disappointing functioning.
BENEFITS: #1: Very high temperature for propane connection; Finally! #2: Gas burners have heavy duty, sturdy grates that allow smooth, continuous, stable movement of pans from one burner to the next; The grating system allow for maximum usage of the cooktop; #3: Glass surface around burners handsome and easy to clean; #4: Strong heating capacity on all burners; #5: Huge oven allows high capacity baking even with large cookie sheets; #6: Convection heating in oven allows for packing of the oven and saves electricity and time; #7: I don't have noise problem, even with the convection oven operating. It is well within my expectations for a blower. There are no rattling sounds that my previous convection ovens had.
Every time I use this range, I marvel at it -- not hyperbole given my past experiences with expensive stoves. It is really a great appliance. For ventilation, we installed a "Euro" Model: SV218B2-36" vent above it (with the weird loops flipped into the interior) and have been extremely satisfied. Ours is a household where we actually prepare meals in our family kitchen, so my comments are those of a completely contented cook. Congratulations to the people at Bosch. Well done!
