Looks great, but surprisingly noisy and a little confusing

Cons: Noisy oven fan. Burners a little large. Controls sophisticated but confusing.
The Bottom Line: Looks great, although I'd like a quieter fan and more buttons so I don't have to figure out a sophisticated control panel with a single knob.
In remodeling our kitchen, we got a Bosch dishwasher because it was so quiet, and this Bosch dual fuel range to match. (We ordered a range hood too, and Bosch is almost two months late in getting that inventory over from the plant in Italy and we still don't have it, but that's another story.) We really liked how this range had controls in the front rather than a raised back panel, so so far it's working well. We also like the grate design, considering that so many grates on gas rangetops on other brands are pretty ugly in our opinion.
On the downside, the oven fan (not even talking about the convection fan) is awfully noisy, which is surprising considering how Bosch made a name for itself for quiet dishwashers. We called service and they said the fan was a little noisier than normal, so they've ordered a replacement and we'll see if it makes much of differences.
Having six buttons and a single knob creates a sleek control panel, but it also makes it a little confusing how to turn on different oven features and the timer. I've read the manual, but need to get it in hand the next time I try to set the timer after I've already started baking.
Also, the burners are pretty large, so there's really only one burner that can accommodate a small pot. The range surface itself is flat so if anything spills it will probably run on to the floor and/or counter.
