stu8200's Full Review: Bosch Nexxt® WTMC3321US Electric Dryer
I purchased this dryer to replace a basic GE dryer. The old dryer sounded like an old car on cold morning, with all of the noises it used to make. I have had this dryer for two months now and it has worked flawlessly. This unit is installed on a first floor laundry room, not in a basement. However, I am not having any vibration problems whatsoever. The unit makes a slight hum, and all you can hear is a quiet sound of clothes tossing in the unit. You do need to actually read the owner's manual to understand that some settings are designed to leave clothes just very slightly damp for wrinkle or ironing reasons, while others leave laundry totally dry. The drying times seem reasonable, between 30 minutes and 1 hour. So I have not seen any extremely long drying times. The lint trap does need to be cleaned after every load, but that is actually a good feature. A lint trap that actually works will prevent lint from collecting elsewhere in the dryer, or elsewhere in the venting and becoming a fire hazard. Most importantly the unit does a great job of drying. With the big variety of options there is a setting for every type of laundry. It does seem to be gentler on the clothes than the old dryer. I have only had it for two months so I cannot review the long-term reliability yet.
