I can't say better things about this dryer than I already have about its companion washer. Ease of use, short drying times, and Made in the USA says it all. You can choose cottons, permanent press, delicate, or timed settings. Cottons have choices from damp dry up to desert dry, with all of them producing extremely wrinkle free fabrics after each cycle. The automatic sensors make sure the heating elements don't sear your clothes while saving you energy in the process. I have yet to need to run a load through a second time. Bonus feature: after the cycle stops, the machine comes back on for 4 or 5 seconds and tumbles the load for up to 30 minutes, thus ensuring your precious cargo stays wrinkle free if you don't hear the buzzer go off. Neat!
I have noticed that there is SIGNIFICANTLY less lint in the trap than with my old GE dryer, which leads me to believe my clothing will last commensurately longer since more cloth stays on the clothes after each load.
Most loads start off at 1 hour and 6 minutes, but that time quickly decreases as the sensors adjust for the dampness and drying setting for each load. My wife is a Pre-K teacher and she brought home a TON of baby doll clothing, paint shirts, and other dirty towels etc. this weekend. We managed to get them washed and dried in record time. She was astounded at how quickly the process went-- almost too quick.
Best decision on a laundry appliance we could possibly make!
