Fantastic jigsaw. I have the original barrel grip bosch jigsaw also
I liked it so much that when they updated it to this model (Bosch Orbital Jigsaw 1587AVSP) I bought it. They are well built tools,
with excellent ergonomics.
I have had the barrel grip jigsaw for well over 10year? wow !
Its still going strong.
The new one just like its predecessor, performs flawlessly, Ilike that fact that the release for the blade is built into the handle. Much better than the original. We always had to hunt for a long thin screwdriver,which we could never find. With excellent speed control with the variable trigger, and a separate speed dial built in. And also a dust blower very useful feature. We love this jigsaw, solid as a rock.
