Pros: VERY Quiet and has Stainless Steel interior walls. Also cleans dishes well.
Cons: Door latch failed after 6 months but was covered under warranty.
The Bottom Line: Although it was slightly more expensive than some of the other dishwashers we considered, we look back and wonder why we ever considered anything else. We love it.

| rpoythress's Full Review: Bosch SHE44C02UC / SHE44C06UC / SHE44C07UC 24 in. ... |
We bought our Bosch almost a year ago and have used it at least once a day almost every day since we got it. When my wife first started talking about buying it, I was resistant because it cost significantly more than the one I wanted. But she convinced me that a quieter dishwasher would be worth the money, so we bought it.
I could not believe how quietly it runs. . . you have to get close to it or look at the display to see if it is on. As I am reasonably handy with tools, I decided to install it myself and found the installation straightforward. Not only is it quiet, but attractive.
There are four cycles offered, Power Scrub Plus, Regular Wash, Quick Wash and Rinse and Hold. We started out using use Regular the most, and have transitioned to using Quick Wash more often. Not because we want to save time, but it gets the dishes clean and uses less energy.
The inside walls are stainless steel. . . far better than plastic or painted steel. No part of this dishwasher shows any sign of age or use whatsoever after almost a year.
The top rack has adjustable height and the adjustment is actually easy to perform and only takes a couple of seconds. The top rack has hold-down things on the sides to hold down light-weight plastic cups, etc. and as a result, when we open it after a wash cycle, we do not find light-weight things all turned upside down and full of water.
I was afraid that if we gave up the silverware in the door that the Whirlpool had, it would have less space for dishes, but it seems to hold as many dishes in the bottom rack as our old Whirlpool did, even though the silverware basket is in the front middle of the bottom rack.
The silverware basket has a neat separator to keep spoons from nesting. This can be easily moved to the bottom of the basket to allow for larger items to fit in the basket.
After we had it about 6 months, the latch on the door failed, but was covered under warranty. I was afraid that if it failed that quickly, I might have to replace it every 6 months or so, but the repair man who came to repair it assured us this was the first of this type failure he had seen in a Bosch.
Customer Service was most helpful when I called about the latch - unlike many C/S people today, I think they were located in the US, as they spoke without a heavy foreign accent and were most pleasant and efficient.
