spiffyhomer's Full Review: Bosch Axxis™ WFL2090UC Front Load Washer
We bought this washer to replace a Maytag Performa that got handed down to my son for his first apartment. The salesman recommended it to us because we were looking for something reasonably priced but highly efficient. We liked the clean white smooth painted finish too because neither my wife or I are huge fans of having to scrub stuff off of "orange peel" texture appliances. They were also having a sale on Bosch washers and dryers so that helped. We installed in on a vinyl floor in a bathroom/laundry room. During the first week of use we noticed that it had a tendency to move across the floor a few inches during the spin cycle. The laundry area is separated by a sliding door and this sometimes made it hard to open when the washer wedged itself right up against it. Our family repairman took a look at it and found nothing wrong. He checked the motor, pump, belts, wash drum, mounts, suspension and level and actually told us that it was one of the more solid built washers that he'd seen in a while. He did recommend that we install a set of Anti-Walk Silent Feet appliance vibration pads, we found them on line and they did the trick. The Bosch has stayed in place ever since and we hope to enjoy it for many more years.
