The Bose Acoustic Wave Music System - Retail $1,100!!
It's essentially a $1,100 plastic box with speakers in it.
It plays CD's and has a Radio.
Does it work, YES it has EXCELLENT sound.
Is it worth $1,100?? Well....
The Bose Acoustic Wave is the Top of the Line version of the Bose Wave Clock Radio. Someone at Bose came up with the idea to make a BIG system based on Wave technology and this is what they came up with.
I own one and I like it for the following reasons:
1. It's the absolute HIT of every cocktail party. People LOVE to talk about it, touch it, and HEAR it. It's perhaps the best conversation starter I have ever seen. EVERYONE LOVES IT.
2. For some strange reason, people immediately assume if you have one of these in your house your a "GOOD" person with Great Credit and can be trusted.
3. It becomes a beautiful centerpiece of your living room. Like an award or trophy that everyone notices and goes "Oooohh" and "AAhhh" at. (My college degrees get far less attention).
4. It does sound fairly darn good. If you turn all the other noise off and make the room completely silent, you'll really hear the difference with the Bose Accoustic wave system. If your in a noisy environment, you'll never notice a thing that you dont hear from any other shelf system.
