DiamondLynn's Full Review: Boudreauxs Butt Paste 1 Oz Tube
It was part of a game at my baby shower...."how much for the Butt Paste!"
We all had a good chuckle at the name and the items got socked away into a basket along with my other gifts.
Months later when our new little angel had his first diaper rash we dug through to find the Butt Paste. A little concerned that this may be just a "gag gift" we read the packaging...Zinc Oxide 16% should do the trick!
It not only did the trick..but in the end it has more in its back pocket!
We have found Boudreaux's Butt Paste to cure diaper rash and dry skin.
Eventually we started trying it for other things and learned that it can help curb cradle cap, chapped lips, soothe sunburn, soften bad cuticles and just about anything else you can imagine!
When we were trying to get the storm windows down this winter we used a little of it to get them moving! I don't think there is anything this little tube can't do!
This wonder creme comes in several different packaging styles...I prefer the tube as its tidy, stands up and I can click the cap shut all with one hand.
The cool thing about the tube is that my little sharp toothed piranha cannot get his teeth through it nor can his little hands open the cap back up to paint the walls with it!
The paste is a tan-nish (unattractive) color that is thick and creamy and will stain if you aren't careful.
With a little rub between your fingers it melts to a nice spreading consistency. It does have a scent which is neither offensive nor pleasant to me anyway.
The paste was developed by a pharmacist and has been featured in several magazines and on Oprah.
They are based in Covington, Louisiana and are currently not taking orders on their website (www.buttpaste.com) due to Hurricane Katrina. I didn't realize this last fact until I started writing this review and will be signing off soon to rush to the drugstore and hoard this miracle butt paste!
While I was originally writing this review, my 1-year-old was processing his oatmeal and raisin breakfast...he was wrestling and screaming as the wipeys hit his little red tushy and for good reason...it was red and *yikes* looking very, very sore! I had my little Butt Paste tube sitting out for this review and rubbed some on his tushy; an hour later I changed his diaper again...there was a tiny little pink spot but the large red welts were gone.
I stand by my review...Butt Paste is a miracle cream! Ask your pediatrician for a sample to try.
