| americanpilot's Full Review: Braun Flex XP 5610 Electric Shaver |
On my quest for the perfect replacement shaver, I started to research different foil shavers with a pricetag under $75. I am a longtime user of Braun products but I decided to do something different this time: "I made the grave mistake of purchasing & trying a Remington. No comparison in between the two makes. The Remington's have a cheap construction and are massed produced in China, the Braun on the other hand is built like a tank and quality made in Germany. The shave from this particular machine is very close and it has the same technology as the other non-syncro Braun shavers. The flexing head is the main feature that makes Braun shavers stand apart from other brands. The only 2 cons that I have found is 1. the fact that it will only work as a cordless machine. That means that if the battery goes out while shaving, you'll have to wait for a recharge before shaving again.
2. The beard trimmer is not very good at trimming. Remember a couple things before purchasing: 1. You have to be an electric shaver person to use one, your beard & skin take about 3 weeks to get used to before it really gives a good shave. 2. Foil shavers and rotary head shavers are totally different. You have to try both to see which one works for you.
Overall for the price, this Braun is A-1
