Pros:-comparatively inexpensive -easy to use (you have to read the instructions first, though)
Cons:None so far.
My sister used to be a professional baker specializing in breads--she inherited every bit of the family breadmaking genes, since every time I've tried to make it I've just ended up with a doorstop. I asked her what she thought of bread machines, expecting her to put them down, and to my surprise she said she had a friend who made very good breads in his machine. She said one good thing about bread machines is that they combine the ingredients really thoroughly, which is something that a lot of people who try to make their own breads don't do.
Since one of the reasons I wanted to make my own bread was to save money, I chose this inexpensive model. I've had it for about four months now and make about 1-2 loaves a week with it with no problems. I find it easy to use and to my taste the bread it makes is superior to supermarket breads.
