by Stephen_Murray, Stephen_Murray is an Advisor on Epinions in Movies
in addition to having obtrusive music by Bernard Hermann is that the movie was bsed on a novel by Cornell Woolrich, as was "Rear Window" and Truffaut's "Mississippi Mermaid" with the more late Hitchcockian (blonde) Catherine Deneuve.
