I considered using Bright Beginnings with my daughter because of the coupon to which you referred. I also contacted Bright Beginnings and they sent me a sample with more coupons. Unfortunately, I could only find this formula at Walgreens. And, like everything else at Walgreens, they mark up their prices so high it didn't pay for me to purchase it, even with the coupon. They wanted $24 for the can!!!!! I probably would have used this formula if not for the limited places where it is sold.

clumping (Reply to this comment)

Coconut oil dissolves at 76 degrees so it'll clump until then. The formula sounds pretty good, but it has too much soybean oil and lecithin than is necessary, it seems. Maybe babies need more to help them gain weight. Coconut oil helps to burn fat, but is very necessary and part of breast milk.

" have become self- educated in the world of baby formulas over the past nine months and during this time I have noticed a few differences from one brand to the next that make some of them superior choices to others. Most all baby formulas that I have sampled have been good, but some have definitely stood out in the crowd for one reason or another. Among the brands I have tried, Bright Beginnings is my favorite of all."

Really sampled, like in tasted? That's dedication and evidence of being a scientist. Three kids later and I never sampled formula, but definitely tasted babyfood. As with everyone else's comments, nice review.

...I was quite educated on the very same subject, but many newer brands and formulas have been created since then! Generic brands are not only just as good for baby when he/she can tolerate them, but they sure ease the strain a bit on the pocketbook at the same time, too.

And your daughter was obviously very happy and healthy, so you must be doing something right :-)

We tried this with my son and it made him so sick :( We used it on two different days with the same results and I hated throwing out the whole canister, but it was not for him apparently. Great review on it though.
