User Rating: Excellent
Ease of Use:
Pros:Very comfortable plush seating. Roomy. Great straps.
Cons:Very heavy. Good thing I've only ever had to move it for an emergency.
The Bottom Line: If you have a baby who outgrows the snap in car seat, this is a nice comfy ride when rear-facing that feels very safe.
Our baby girl was way too long and chubby for her Peg Perego SIP car seat by about 5 months. We bought this car seat because it was roomier and would last her even when she would be forward facing.

The fabric is very soft, the seat is very comfy. The straps are nice and thick and firm. The straps also include a rubbery guide on each strap, I am not sure what purpose these have other than they seem to keep the straps form twisting.
I find that the recline seems a bit upright for an infant even at 10 months when rear facing.
I feel it good value for money. Yes it is expensive but I've had other car seats like Eddie Bauer and a Cosco convertible but both after some use had flimsy straps that crimped and twisted though both were lighter. I think that the Britax feels well anchored and sturdy and the weight tradeoff is worth it for better straps.
I know lots of people who carpool or have extra car seats for when they cart around neighbour's kids or cousins and their car seats come in and out. This would be a bit tedious for that purpose but we seldom remove the seats so it is less a factor.
I like the texture of the seat fabric, I find it easy to wipe off crumbs so far and the print is very cute.
