Our son recently outgrew his infant seat so we were in the market for a convertible car seat. For our Honda Civic, we purchased the Britax Roundabout. The decision was made primarily on the reputation of Britax as a safe car seat and this was their smaller seat which was right for our car. This seat does not have the bells and whistles that the Britax Boulevard has which we purchased for our mini van but our son likes it. It has a 5 point harness and comfortable padding. Its very easy to get him in and out of the seat. The only downside that we have had so far is adjusting the harness. The design is similar to the infant car seats where you have to pull out the straps from the lower pre-cut openings and reinsert the straps to the height of your child's torso. The adjustment can't be made with the seat assembled as you need to remove the cover and access the back of the car seat. There are several pre-cut openings that you can use but unlike Boulevard the height is not adjustable specifically to your child. Boulevard also allows you to adjust the height while you child is still seated in the car seat. The seat from out of the box took me about 15 to 20 minutes to install and another 30 minutes to remove the seat to adjust the height. I used both latch and seat belt along with the tether. I would recommend that you adjust the straps prior to installing the seat into your car.
