ldona24's Full Review: Brother IntelliFax-2920 Fax
We too are a medical office and purchesed our new Brother IntelleFax2920 about 2 years ago. It worked great, it was efficient, it stored lots of fax messages when the toner ran out one time, and we were very happy. At the end of our first year, it broke and after discussions with the manufacturer, we were told that because it was still under warranty, a refurbished replacement one would be sent and we were to return the broken one. However, if the replacement one should break, it would not be under warranty. Not a problem we thought. Even though it is refurbished, surely Canon would not send out a product that they hadn't thoroughly checked over. What are the chances of getting a second machine that would break so soon? Turns out, they were pretty high. It is now 6 months later and while sending a fax there was a big "clunk" sound and the machine not only stopped working but we can't open the front of it to check the toner or drum. There is no error message to guide us either. So we are trying to find a local repair service because I just bought 6 boxes of toner for it. We will be shopping for a new fax. Although this one fit our needs perfectly and works really well (when it works), it is way too unrelaible for us to continue to depend on it.
