The Bottom Line: Bubble Fairy Barbie isn't a great bubble maker. If you like the dress and get it on sale, go for it - otherwise, don't waste the money.

My daughter received it as a gift. It seems like such a fun thing to do - Barbie joyously spinning in a cloud of pretty bubbles. However, Barbie does not like to keep her wands on and if she does the bubbles are minute and long-lived. All of this is dependent upon Barbie spinning on command.
A pull string "winds" her up to prepare to twirl. However, her dress gets in the way so the spins are jerky if they even happen. We found she spins much better when she's naked, though her string tangles frequently.
Her bubble wands were discarded sometime ago as they don't even make decent bubbles when a child blows them.
I wouldn't waste the money on the doll, though my girls love her shiny pink and yellow dress to put on other Barbies.
