Budweiser is the best beer to just sit back and relax with. I can't even imagine a football Sunday without a cold 6 pack of bud bottles. Bud is smooth going down, without any complex tastes or weird flavors like those seasonal microbrews. It's also a nice light tasting and filling beer. I'm not into those beers where after one bottle you feel like you just had a full dinner, like Guiness. It's also very predictable. With the born on date you know exactly what you are getting, a good, fresh beer. Sometimes with those microbrews you wind up with a batch that just tastes funny. I prefer Bud in the bottles, the cans give it sort of a weird taste but if there's nothing else around I'll do it. Of curse nothing beats Bud on tap, but you obviously can't do that at home for football. The only thing that bugs me about Bud are those horrible commericals with the founder's son. Where'd he learn to speak? The best was the frog commercial where the lizard poked fun at the son's commericials. If you want a predictable, simple tasting beer that is always fresh and smooth, go no further than the King of Beers. There's a reason it's the biggest beer in the world.
