Pros: Cute, cuddly, good for all ages, you can put sound in your bear
Cons: Takes a long time to get it in the store
The Bottom Line: You really should get a build-a-bear, even if it's a bit expensive. It's a cute bear that is great to hug and when your upset, a friend will be near-by.

| steph123456789's Full Review: Build-A-Bear Stuffed Bear |
Let me start off with my first visit to Build-A-Bear Workshop (I went twice):
I went there, looked around, and there were a whole bunch of different bears. There was also a giraffe, a frog, and a cow. Well, as I looked around I finally saw the perfect bear. THE VELVET TEDDY! But lets not get into that. The first station I went to after the Choose Me station was Stuff Me. When I got to the front of the line, a girl stuffed my bear and started asking a bunch of questions. Oh yes, I forgot to mention you can put sound in your bear. I didn't though. There is tons of sounds. From songs to simple words, you can choose. After that, she made me kiss a heart, make a wish, and put it in my bear. What? Why did they make me do that? Who knows. But whatever. Next stop, Fluff Me! Here you get to scrub your bear in a fake bathtub and then air dry it (even if its not wet at all). Next was the Dress Me area. There was TONS of clothes to choose from. There was more girl clothes then boy clothes, I must say. So after a long time of looking about you may just find the perfect clothes for your bear (at last). Then.......Name Me! You name your bear at this place, but there is more to it. You have to give out tons of information about yourself (after you at last get a computer), name your bear, and then you get to pick either a story about your bear or a birthday card for your bear. For my first teddy, I got the story. It was very disappointing. Not a very good story. Very cheesy. Anyways, then you get to take your bear home. The people at the front desk will take your bear, put it in a box, you pay them, you leave. And thats what I did. Everything I just told you is exactly what I did.
STORE: The store is very nice actually. It has music, children are laughing, bears are everywhere....you get the drift. Its a very nice place, even though they kinda just put things here and there. They make birthdays for each bear on the day of the bears birthday (and maybe a day or two after or before the birthday) a girl or guy will dress up as the bear and stand outside the shop and offer out hugs. Very cute.
WORKERS: The girls and boys who work at Build-A-Bear Workshop are very nice and friendly. They help you out and as soon as you go into the store they ask, Have you been here before? If you say no, they usually will give you the basics on how everything works.
BEARS: Where do I begin? I cant list ALL THE BEARS! The most popular Build-A-Bears are the white cat (not a bear, and I dont know the name) and the Velvet Teddy. Some of the bears are cuter then others.
PRICE: That all depends. There is a lot of things to change the price: the kind of bear (or other animal) you get, how many clothes you get, and how many accessories you buy. For Zachy (my first teddy), he was almost 60 dollars! For my second Build-A-Bear (Kelly) the price was 26 dollars. Thats because I only bought pants for Kelly, and she was only fifteen dollars herself
WAIT: Depends on how busy the store is. For Kelly, I had to wait an hour in line for Stuff Me, and another half an hour waiting for Name Me.
OVER ALL: Build-A-Bears are really cute, cuddly, and I like them. The workshop isnt too bad either. But dont get your hopes up. Usually youll be spending A LOT of your day in Build-A-Bear, and sometimes the computers break down.
