| yojeffrey's Full Review: Bulldog RS102/RS112/RS122 |
I installed my first one of these 7 years ago. Installed in about 3 hours, and worked great for 3 years. When I sold my car for a van I removed it, reinstalled it into the van and got another three years. Now I have the same remote starter in my Dakota and still works great. I just bought 2 newer updated versions for Christmas gifts so hopefully they work as well as the first. I never would have thought I would have got so much service out of one of these, So I am very happy. Its 3am here on Christmas eve and Im actaully on my way to install my wifes so I can just give her the remote and it will be a done deal. That makes it even better because she will be able to use it right away and not have to bug me to put it in. No Complaints here ..... Install isnt too bad at all. Instructions for the color codes for wires are not right on, but still easy to install. The wires are there and you can figure them out with a quick prod to the other wires with the tester included for the install. Install is a little tricky with factory alarms and you can lookup what is needed for your model car before you even start. Most people dont seem to do their homework before jumping into the whole process, and the negative expierence is the end result. Its most likely not the unit, but the installer. Thats normal I guess......
