Ease of Use:
Pros:Reversible handlebar. Unusual color. Large basket. Adjustable handle height. Easy to unfold.
Cons:Hard to lock into folded position. Handle too close to stroller body in reversed position.
The Bottom Line: This is my 8th stroller, and a welcome addition to the world of strollers. If you don't mind the weight, you'll love it.
We bought this stroller after learning that our wonderful Zooper Zydeco wouldn't fold small enough to fit into the trunk of our car. We wanted a sturdy stroller with large double wheels, and since we're both at least 6' tall, we needed adjustable handles. We also wanted a "girl" color that wasn't prissy, and the pumpkin color fit the bill perfectly.
This stroller has proven to be a good buy. At $269, it was pricey but not ridiculously expensive. We were pleased to discover that it came out of the box fully assembled. It is substantial and well made. Bumbleride is a startup company, and they've got some good ideas that make this stroller worthwhile. The materials used are lightweight and sturdy, the fabric is soft yet wipes clean easily, and the shape itself makes the stroller easy to steer and walk behind.
It's also a very attractive stroller, and I get comments on it all the time. (I've never had a stranger comment about my stroller before this one!)
But the very best feature: THE REVERSIBLE HANDLEBAR. I had no idea how much I would love it. It takes just 2 seconds to switch the handles so that your baby can watch you instead of the world, or to get the sun out of baby's eyes. We use this feature constantly. The downside: when the handlebar is in the "mom faces baby" position, it's easy to bump your toes on the wheels. That takes a little getting used to.
The only downsides: The stroller is a little on the heavy side, so it's hard to lift if you're small or weak. It's also very hard to lock into folded position. I gave up and don't lock it, unless we're checking it on an airplane. The good news: it's a piece of cake to unfold. It practically leaps into place. (Note that you will not be able to fold or unfold one-handed.)
