User Rating: Excellent
Ease of Use:
Pros:Easy to put together, well constructed, stylish, grows with your child.
Cons:Only accommodates some infant car seats.
The Bottom Line: Expensive, but worth it. Look for it on sale (even 10% off saves you $40) and don't even think about paying shipping. Too many online stores offer it free.
The Indie is easy to put together right out of the box. I read the instructions while my husband assembled. Total time was less than 15 minutes. All of the parts function intuitively, easing any learning curve.
The air filled tires means that it works equally well on sand, dirt, grass and pavement. Many of the parts are adjustable, so it’s comfortable for me (5'1") and my husband (6'1"). All of the components seem sturdy and the canvas fabric seems like it will hold up until my son no longer wants to ride in it, so I'm pretty sure this is the only stroller we'll ever need.
Accommodates some infant car seats (check the manufacturer's website, http://www.bumbleride.com to see which ones, we have a Graco SafeSeat), so it can be used from birth until the child grows out of it (45 pounds).
For stylish Mamas, an infant car seat cover is available so your seat matches you stroller. I also bought the accessory Snack Pack. There is a rain cover available, but I haven’t picked it up. The basic stroller comes with a footmuff that many of the other manufacturers charge extra for. Also included in the box are a bumper bar, infant seat bar, jogging strap, air pump (though the tires come pre-inflated), and strap covers and a head support.
