honestlynow's Full Review: Bunn BT10B 10-Cup Coffee Maker
I've spent too much money on dismal carafe coffee makers like MR. Coffee. It was time for a change.
Carafe coffee makers will not leave a burnt coffee taste.
The pot works well, but READ the directions. The lid is a valve to start the brewing, so don't close it early.
Grind the coffee to a medium (or medium fine for me) grind and use enough coffee in the machine. I like strong coffee, so I grind 2 sets of beans, as the machine directions are for average tastes. Does French roast nicely. This coffee maker is all about good coffee.
Can't fit all the Pros and Cons
Carafe does not spill when pouring (not a dribble glass design).
Always on with hot water (always ready).
> 3 minute to brew.
Does not burn coffee.
Damn good at coffee.
Made Right, unlike some makers, the Bunn has no controls under the pot that get water inside.
Pay attention to directions. I'd avoid other coffee maker brands, the BT-10B is the one you want.
