Burt's Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion is a great lotion for anyone to use for soft and moisturized skin, but especially for those with dry skin.  Burt's Bees uses all natural main ingredients in their products and this one delivers as promised.

Burt's Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion comes in a 6 oz. tube that retails for $8.00, a smaller 2.5 oz. tube that retails for $5.00 that fits nicely into your purse, and a 12 oz. pump style bottle that I have yet to see in a store in my area.

Burt's Bees claims that this product has been clinically tested to moisturize skin up to 24 hours.  It is designed to nourish skin and leave it feeling soft.  They claim the formula absorbs quickly and the scent is all natural.

How Does It Stack Up to Promises?

I have found that Burt's Bees product pretty much do as they claim.  I do have an exception though with my experience with this product.  I don't think it moisturizes for a full 24 hours after application.  I wash my hands a good many times in a 24 hour period and I can't feel this on my skin after several washings.  Also even if you shower at the 24 hour mark, I don't see the benefits of really good moisturized skin right before I jump in the shower.  This is a silly claim and statement to make. 

Burt's Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion does do an excellent job at moisturising my skin.  It works much better than most body lotions you would find at the grocery store/drug store/mass merchandising stores you pick up for the same amount of money.

I love the fact that this product uses natural ingredients such as essential oils from coconut, soybean, olive and grape seed.  Shea butter and beeswax also helps hydrate the skin to keep it soft and moisturized. 

The formula of Burt's Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion is a nice and thick white color.  It does absorb easily into my skin and provides moisture for hours, but not a full 24 hours as they claim.

The fragrance is definitely a sweet honey mixed with coconut oil scent.  I find it refreshing and a nice and different scent.

My Conclusion

I love the fragrance of Burt's Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion.  It is unique and very pleasant in my opinion.  The natural ingredients give this product an advantage over those containing chemical compounds and really do their job in keeping my skin soft and moisturized.  I use this product mostly after a shower and find that my skin is still nice and soft when I wake up the next morning.  I also love the fact that this product delivers on most of it's promises.
