Value:
I pay an average of $7 for a tube of this cleanser. It takes only a small, dime size squeeze of this thick, rich cream to spread over and cleanse your entire face; I only need buy a tube every 2-3 months for daily cleansing.
Performance:
I do not like heavily scented or perfumed toiletries. This cream has only the faintest scent of menthol, and leaves no lingering smell on my skin.
It cleans thoroughly without drying, leaving my face smooth and soft with a slight refreshing tingle. It doesn't give me the dry, tight feeling that most cleansers do; I only need follow up with moisturizer in the driest of weather.
If you wear makeup, you need a separate product to remove mascara.
Packaging:
This product is packaged in a tube with 22% post-consumer recycled material. Post-consumer recycled material indicates that items that have been used and entered the recycling market have been used in manufacturing, where packaging that only indicates it has been made with recycled material may only contain in-house recycled materials such as the leftovers from cutting and trimming packaging or spoiled packaging that has been reprocessed.
Not Tested on Animals:
Burt's Bees does not test their products on animals. Some organizations do not consider the products cruelty free because they contain an animal product, beeswax.
