| Acarian's Full Review: Burton Charger |
When you come upon a Burton snowboard, you know you have found the real deal. I have bought almost 35 Burton snowboards either new or from various used snowboard certified dealers. So this has ended up to be review number four on my snowboard adventure. So the first time I really got the advantage to experience the Burton Charger was in December when I traveled out of town to Utah for my annuel snowboarding vacation, something I always love doing. There I purchased this snowboard on sale for $350.00. a considered fair price put on the overall performance of this snowboard things were very impressive.
The first time I tried this snowboard on the slopes, I was very happy with what I was experiencing. The board is specially designed for freestyle the result is for you to have more options on how to use your snowboard. Which means more advanced tricks you can try while riding the slopes, and also leaving space for more experimentation of more difficult tricks. This is idealy what a freestyle snowboard is all about.
Sidecut
The Sidecut design allows more manuvers, and flexibility while riding. It also provides more safe of an experience for beginner snowboarders. Taking it slow, that gradually bulding up to your own level of challenges is the key to mastering all the tactics of the snowboarding game. The sidecut design also adds on the the ease of turning while riding the sloped regularly. A great feature for those that love smooth sailing on the slopes.
Designed for All Riders
The Changer is made for all types of snowboarders. If we are to cover the whole nine yard this would be to include beginners, intermediate, and advanced classes. However fast you learn as a snowboarder, the Charger will gradually build up to your skill level.
Speed
Since this is not exactly a speed board, do not expect the Changer to be centered in the middle of the speed factor. It is specifically classified as a freestyle board if we were to look at exactly what that means: It is made especially for trying all sorts of snowboarding stunts and tricks, in addition to that flexibility in every sense of action. While this snowboard is not designed for speed, it can still reach fair speeds on the slopes. This is being compared to many models, it would easily rank in second on the speed factor at one.
Stunts
Which stunts and tricks can I pull off with this freestyyle snowboard?
You have so many options while using the Charger from my experience you should be able to easily try the basic tricks such as the difficult 360 degree. The Charger has the compatibility to flow correctly the way you are moving, as well as going together will all body movements which is very important and a sure safety feature.
You can also easily perform any type of trick on the Charger from beginner to advanced this snowboard will suite your level.
Terrain
The Charger rides best on regular powder surface, to light snow. While I have rode it on a few occasions on a little rocky terrain it still overall rode well. But if you desire top performance at all times, what most of us want, stick to the sloped with the medium powder consistency.
Durability
This is a snowboard that is quite durable for the price tag especially. The brand says Burton which has to be in some shape, or form a sense of relief. I have tried many snowboards in the past, particularly in the beginning of me snowboarding. Some just did not compete with having good durability. A good and reliable snowboard has to be durable, if not how will you trust yourself riding it? You have to trust your instincts on the first hand.
Smooth
The Changer is a smooth riding snowboard on the slopes. I have found it to be as one of the best snowboards I have tried yet in the freestyle categories. The reason I like it so much is it maintains corresponding weight that is equal to exceptional performance, something that does not come along aften.
Style
You just have to admit, the Changer is a pretty attractive board. It comes in a variety of solid colors while it is outlined with solid, and brilliant black outlining designs. Something that will definately satisfy your urge of creativity found in a snowboard.
