Busch beer is a lighter beer product produced by the folks at Anheuser- Busch. It is a cheap beer and it is very bland and boring.
Busch has a very light color and a bad smell, similar to Budweiser. Essentially, it is just like Budweiser in most respects, just a little lighter in body and less expensive. Busch has a grainy flavor of rice, corn, and barley, and it produces a not-so-pleasant aftertaste. There is a certain crispness to this beer and it does offer some smooth drinking. Anheuser- Busch has successfully lightened this beer to the point that it has lost most of its taste and is almost as smooth as water.
Cheap beer does have its time and place, and Busch is no exception. It is a popular product among college students, due to its low price tag, its familiarity, and its blandness. When a beer doesn't have much flavor, you can be assured that your party guests will not be offended. In these respects, Busch delivers on all counts.
The only saving grace of Busch is its cheapness and its thirst- quenching characteristics. While it is generally dissatisfying, it is, at least, an acceptable beer to serve. It doesn't have a terrible taste. And there are worse beers on the market even at slightly higher price levels. Still, I recommend choosing Busch only if your taste buds are numb or your wallet is nearly empty. There is nothing particularly memorable about it.
