Cons: Faulty software, no technical support from Bushnell
The Bottom Line: Unless you're a computer expert, I definitely would not recommend this product as its software may cause irreparable damage to your pc.

I had such high hopes for this product. My expectations though, were quickly dashed.
When it arrived at my office, I opened the package, read the accompanying literature, inserted the batteries in the camera and went outside to take some pictures. I came back in, read the software instructions, installed the driver and photo editing software that came on the cd. Finally, I hooked up the binoculars to the computer through the supplied USB cable.
The computer would not recognize the camera, so I went to bushnell.com and looked up the Image View. On the page was an updated driver for Windows XP. I downloaded the new driver as per the instructions.
Thinking I had finally solved the problem, I hooked the binoculars back up to the USB port. This time, the images appeared as thumbnails, but I could not bring them to the main photo page for editing. As I was double clicking on the thumbnails to edit them, my computer became very unstable. The program froze, my mouse wouldn't move, etc.
I rebooted the system with hopes that my computer just needed to restart. WRONG! When my computer came back up, I could not access any of my existing programs or the internet for that matter.
Since I was at work, I called our in-house IT guy over. He asked what had been done to my computer since that morning. I showed him the software and explained that I had followed all the instructions that came with it. He said because we were on a network, the software had changed all of my network settings. It took him SEVEN HOURS to correct what the Image View software had done.
Even though the software caused major problems on my work computer, I bravely took the software and product home that night to try on my Sony laptap. I figured since I'm not on a network at home, perhaps the outcome would be more favorable. I followed all the directions to a 'T' and the same problems appeared. My laptop refused to "see" the digital camera. I went to the bushnell.com site and downloaded the updated driver for my operating system. Once again, my laptop became unstable just like my computer at work.
Feeling completely frustrated, I visited bushnell.com again and this time e-mailed tech support outlining my problem in detail. That was over a week ago and I still have not heard back from them. Two days ago I sent them a complaint about the software and their lack of support. I have not heard a word from them.
I had no choice but to uninstall the hardware and software from my laptop and then do a 'system restore' from a prior date. The next day I promptly took the product back to the store for a full refund.
