Pros: heats up fast, no snagging
Cons: way, way, way too pricey
didn't work much better than my $40 iron

I have long, pretty thick hair that's naturally curly. I've been straightening it for years but I always have to use a curling iron afterwards because my hair loses shape and frizzes like crazy if I just leave it straight. I thought that maybe this $170 appliance would let me wear my hair just straight instead of wavy, which is what I get after using a curling iron. However, there was only a SLIGHT improvement with this iron over my $40 hot tools one. There might not even be a difference, I think I might have convinced myself that this one was better just because for the price, it HAS to be right? I don't know. Perhaps my hair is simply beyond help, but for the money it was definitely not worth it. I just don't understand why it costs that much.
