Pros: Even heat, fast heat-up, high performance, cuts down straightening time.
Cons: A little big, pricey.
The Bottom Line: Yes. I have never come across an iron that does exactly what it says, and does it so well.

| kelseyhorner's Full Review: Chi Turbo Ceramic Hairstyling Iron |
I have been using more affordable irons my entire life. After all of them starting to perform less adequately in less than a year, I decided to spend the extra money for a high-performance iron. After asking friends that I knew had very curly hair what irons they used, they all said CHI, and that they loved it. I decided to buy the CHI 2" Turbo Flat Iron. I just received it two days ago, and it is great.
It makes my hair must softer, smoother, shinier, and most importantly straighter than any other iron I have used. It's ceramic plate is certainly big enough to straighten out my long hair in under 10 minutes. I do not have extremely curly hair, but it is unmanageable due to frizz and horribly placed waves, and it makes my hair go from coarse to soft and silky.
It is a black iron, with ceramic plates, and there is red velour/velvet on the outside of the plates. I am not quite sure what the velvet is for. I am still trying to research that. There are two switches: one for on and off, the other for temperature. There are 3 settings for temperature, low, medium, and high. The straightener reaches 180 degrees celcius/356 degrees fahrenheight. There is a swivel for the cord so that it doesn't get twisted around itself, and the cord itself also seems quite durable.
I can't comment much on the durability of the iron, as I have only had it for two days. It seems very sturdy, and I expect it to last quite a long time. I will update at a later date to tell how my iron has held up after an extended period of time, as well as the condition of my hair. It hasn't had much of an effect on the health of my hair, which leads me to believe it does not dry it out as much as my old irons have in the past.
I would definitely recommend this iron or any of CHI's irons to anyone and everyone that needs it, as it was recommended to me on multiple occasions.
