Cons: Way too many bad reactions!
I *LOVED* the old Night and Day lenses. Wore them for a couple of years. The doctor gave me a pair of the new ones (without mentioning that they were new) when I had my eyes examined and prescription cranked up a tad. At first, I thought the itching and "gravel" were because of the numbing drops or just exposure to air for awhile when I've grown accustomed to 24/7 contacts. But the itching got worse. I thought, surely, overnight it would settle down, but I woke up with caked eyelids and an insufferable itch. On removing the lenses, I noted they were tinted blue. Called the doctor's office to be sure they'd given me the right lenses. That's when I found out they were the "new, improved" version. Got out my glasses and used tons of lubricating drops and ointment. This morning, all better, I tried putting the "new, improved" lenses back in. Reaction was instantaneous. I didn't last 4 minutes. Put a pair of my trusty old lenses in and the world was good again. With this many people responding with what appears to be allergic reactions, this product should be recalled.
