| gdwtch22's Full Review: Ciba Vision Softcolors Lenses |
I've been wearing contact since I was 13 (about 10 years now). My last eye appointment I thought it would be fun to try a different color, I've always wanted green eyes. My eye doctor suggested the Ciba Softcolors. The first day was great (a new pair of contacts always feels great). I got the same visual acuity as with my other contacts, and as an added bonus I got many second glances! It wasn't until the sun started to set that I noticed a problem. I was driving home and it started to feel as though I was wearing sun glasses. Everything looked sort of shaded. It was the color on the contacts that did it. I have blue eyes naturally, and people with blue eyes don't see as well at night to begin with. I don't know about you, but I don't like the feeling of not seeing properly especially while driving at night. The contacts wear pretty much the same as any other brand. They are as comfortable too. I only wear them when I know I won't be driving in the dark though. The price is a little high, but it's not like your buying a new shade of lipstick. If you are looking for a reliable contact that you can wear all the time, I suggest you keep looking, but if you are looking fun way to change your look, give these a try.
