Our ultimate socks are so perceptive, they know when to keep your feet cool and when to keep them warm. The key to this is their ability to wick moisture away from the foot and pull it to the outside of the sock where it evaporates away. And, because they keep your feet dry, these socks greatly reduce the chances of blisters and foot fungus. This special wool won't cause your feet to itch either. They maintain their shape wash after wash for a customized fit. 65% merino wool, 27% nylon, and 8% spandex.

A Word on Wool From Cablela's
The original easy-care fiber. Each wool fiber is made up of millions of coiled springs that stretch during use but coil back to their original positions. It features inherent qualities such as wrinkle resistance, colorfastness, shape recovery, and it breathes with your body. It can be knit in various weights to provide increasing levels of insulation for every temperature. Wool yarn, when knitted into a thicker sock, tends to be bulky and lofty. Air becomes entrapped and it becomes an ideal insulator. Wool socks also keep feet drier because wool absorbs as much as 30% of its own weight before it begins to feel damp.
Why I Bought
I purchased these for when its cold outside and my feet perspire a lot no matter the temperature and are great for hunting boots or shoes. These socks help your feet stay dry while out hunting that monster buck or other wild game. I was also attracted by the fact that it claims to (and holds up to the claim) reduce the chances of blisters and foot fungus and a special non-itchy blend of wool.
Usefulness
They have plenty of comfort in the aspect of cushioning because they do not just flatten out like your basic Hanes or Fruit of Loom socks that just are almost paper thin. Plus the comfort in keeping your feet dry from breathing away the moisture from your feet. As well as the comfort that you get from having dryer feet. I have also found them useful for wearing as slipper socks to keep your feet dry even while at home during the winter months. They really do mold to your feet making them more comfortable than the average pair of socks.
Durability
These socks will last you for years to come as long as you keep yours shoes properly tied and toenails reasonable length; meaning that you feet are not loose in the boots rubbing against the heel portion and your toenails are at normal length so they do not essentially cut through the sock itself. Plus it is important that you unlace your boots so you do not prematurely wear out the heel by dragging your foot out of the boot. I have also found these socks to be apparently on of the most durable socks in the Cabela's line yet. Another thing that is important is proper washing and drying to extend life of the socks.
Washing Directions
Use mild soap and chlorine free bleach so that you do not cause the Wool to fall apart.
Drying Directions
I usually place them on cycle of tumble dry low or hang dry them since high heat is not needed since they are made of wool even though it may take a little longer. High heat in the long run can cause the Wool in the socks to bind up some making the socks uncomfortable or loose up around the top of the sock.
Times to be used
They are perfect for hunting in cold weather or other cold weather activities or wear them like slipper socks.
