I picked up Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Toffee at the store yesterday because it was on sale. I really like Heath Bars, and was hoping that the consistency would be a softer version of a Heath Bar.
Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Toffee is packaged in a purple wrapper with the words "Cadbury Soft English Toffee" on the top, "Natural and Artifical Flavor" in the middle and "Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Tofee" On the Bottom.
The Taste
The chocolate has a very milky flavor for me The Tofee is Very Sweet, and very rich, but also a taste of salt. When you put the two together, they are almost too sweet, but The flavors really compliment each other and taste very good in small servings.
The Texture
Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Toffee appears nice, shiny, and smooth, served in small little blocks. The toffee is very creamy.Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Toffee is also very messy. The Toffee will drip out of the bar, and make a huge mess.
Room Temp Vs Cold
<p>I really noticed a difference when I put Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Toffee in the refridgerator to get really cold before I ate it. I think it taste better when the toffee is cold, and even the chocolate taste better.
Overall Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Toffee is a good candy bar. The Chocolate taste like the traditional cadbury chocolate (Very Sweet and Milky), and the toffee is very sweet and creamy. The flavors compliment each other. I would buy Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Toffee again in the future because I think it is a good deal for the money paid. I will think you have to have the taste for cadbury chocolate to like it, it is a very unique taste that many people may or may not like. The Bar is Messy It is not what I expected, I though toffee was supposed to be dry, not like caramel. It reminds me too much of a very salty caramel/ butterscotch.
So in conclusion I would recommend Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Filled with Soft English Toffee. If you have self control, and won't eat the whole candy bar...lol... It's enough for a little sweet treat once and awhile, break of a piece. It wasn't like I expected and I had no idea a creamy toffee like this existed, but It is a good deal, and worth buying (as long as you have a really sweet tooth.)
