The Bottom Line: If you have never been to the Palace, you owe yourself a visit in the off season!

We had signed up for the Emperor's Club (slot card) and got a great offer in the mail for xmas weekend (off-peak). We got the upgraded rooms for about $130/night including taxes.
The bathroom alone was worth the price! Lovely marble floors with intricate themed designs.
The large bathroom was divided into three sections. A separate whirpool tub for two with 8 jets and double sinks in the main area with a large mirror across an entire wall.
The shower area was behind a glass door and the toilet was in a little room behind a wooden door.
The only missing items were bath mats since the marble feels very cold when you step out of a warm bath.
We used extra towels as mats instead.
Unfortunately we did not know that during xmas most of the shows are closed but we did manage to see Danny Gans which was the 2nd best show we ever saw (the best being Blue man Group).
The gambling in Caesar's is limited in selection when compared to Bally's, MGM, and Flamingo.
We prefer the nickel slots and MGM & Bally's had the best selection of those.
We even found penny slots on the Strip near Flamingo's but don't remember the name of the casino.
The food at Caesar's is good but pricey - there are better deals available elsewhere on the Strip. The shopping mall was fun to walk through.
Even the bath soap was amazing - it had this rough texture to it that left your skin feeling really soft and smooth after bathing.
Of course we had to steal a few for ourselves!
