After a five night stay at the palace I was less than impressed. Some of the staff would bend over backwards for you, and some would not give you the time of day. Caesars has some very beautiful scenery. However the attitudes of some of the staff takes away from the enjoyment. Don't get me wrong. I don't need a rolled out red carpet. But I do expect a smiling face and a little respect for being a guest. The atmosphere in the casino was dead the whole time I was there. That is very unusual for five days in a row. Upon departure I found myself in a bit of a battle over some simple comps. It was strange for me to have to argue over a forty dollar limo ride from and to the airport. Especially since my average bet for the whole trip was about $300.00 per bet. My host's excuse was that It was my first visit. It was also my last.
