I went to Vegas and thought that Caesar's was a must-see. It is for the the amazing new mall complex but the casino leaves something to be desired.
Caesars has very little in the way of atmosphere. The decor is dark, and I think it was sophisticated in the eighties, but compared to the newer more elegant casinos on the strip Caesar's is outdated. The waitresses look silly in their Ancient Greek costumes, and the place really needs an overhaul to compete with what can now be offered on the strip.
As for the tables, they are mostly for higher rollers, at least on weekend evenings. I know people dedicated to Caesar's but personally I found the service at the tables and the overall attitude toward the players to be stale and a bit haughty.
I ate the supposedly famous buffet there and was not impressed. The selection of food was meager, the service was terrible and I paid more money for a buffet I could have had anywhere. I was expecting more than roast beef and ice milk machines. I've heard the restaurants in the newer section are worth checking out though.
I would skip Caesars, or maybe just see the shops. Head to some of the casinos with more class, better service and more to offer their customers.
