My husband and I stayed at Ceasar's a couple of years ago on our honeymoon. We both love Las Vegas and decided there was no better place to spend some of our wedding cash! We had both been to Las Vegas before but had never staying at Ceasar's Palace. I chose it for two reasons...one, because it's supposed to be the best isn't it, and two, because my grandmother was footing the bill as our wedding gift. Why not go to one of the most famous hotel and casinos known?
I have to say that there is no doubt Ceasar's is beautiful. It is truly spectacular to see all the fountains and statues at night. My husband and I had a nice room. The bathroom was fabulous. It had a separate tub and shower and was very elegant. The room itself though wasn't very spacious and it actually was a double so I can't imagine four people trying to stay in there together. Other than that it was nice.
The casino was of course top dollar. The tables were top dollar and my husband and I just weren't into that. They had the standard slot machines, poker machines, etc. but nothing especially extraordinary.
I would have to say that the highlight of Ceasar's is the Forum Shops. It is a beautiful shopping area that supplies only the best of stores. There are some fabulous restaurants including Spago's and for fun they have a Planet Hollywood. You can't beat that! There are two moving statue shows that are wonderful. There is no charge and they are presented right in the middle of the mall. It's architecture is beautiful along with the color and lighting. This shopping area is the best thing about the hotel.
My honest opinion would be to pass on staying in Ceasar's if you want affordable, spacious accommodations and food, but definitely visit it. It wouldn't be Las Vegas without a trip to Ceasar's Palace.
