| HonkKongHal's Full Review: Callaway Biggest Big Bertha Driver |
The Callaway Biggest Big Bertha driver is another golf product that in my own opinion did not live up to its billing. The Biggest offers as many drawbacks as it offers advantages over its predecessors and competitors. While it does have a larger head with a bigger sweet spot, the club is harder to swing because of the large head, so in the end it equals out. I prefer the greater control of the other Big Bertha drivers. My favorite of all drivers is the original Big Bertha. This may sound strange, but I have tried all of the Callaway drivers as well as several others, and I have yet to find a driver that offers me a better combination of power and control than the original. Another problem with the Biggest is that you have to tee up the ball so high to compensate for the large head. While this is sort of a small reason not to buy the club, the little things add up. Although this is not a bad club for the golfer who cannot swing very hard, for a bigger hitter and faster swinger I would not necessarily recommend this club.
