Pros: Nice looking club, dead straight shots.
Cons: Won't really improve your distance, bad sound, ridiculous price.
The Bottom Line: Good club, but I just think it's too expensive. There's better stuff out there at better prices.

| golfer789's Full Review: Callaway Erc Fusion Style Driver |
Today at my local pro shop I demo'd a 9.5 degree Callaway Golf ERC Fusion Driver with Grafalloy Pro Lite regular flex shaft. I came away impressed but....I think I can find better.
The ERC Fusion has great looks, and gave me a lot of confidence on the tee. Every shot I hit had a nice slightly high trajectory. I also got quite a bit of roll from a 9.5 degree club. This club would be PERFECT I think for anyone who can crush the ball, but needs to get more shots in the fairway. I didn't get a ton of distance, (about the same, maybe 5 or so yards more than my HiPPO Giant) but none of my shots hooked or sliced, which is a big plus. Some golfers may not like this club because it doesn't make a good sound, on my dead-center hits it makes a weird 'toonk' sound which isn't pleasing. I couldn't work the ball, but not that big of deal considering the courses I play at.
This is a good club, but $400-$500 is asking quite a bit. If you are in the hunt for a new driver and are considering the ERC Fusion, try it out first and see if the money is worth the reward.
