Tea bag user, eh? (Reply to this comment)

ME, TOO! :)
I am looking for a new kettle, as my Revereware model is getting to be a little the worse for wear. I'm leaning toward another brand, but want to look at this one, just to see how it's put together.
The omission of the whistle will more than likely keep me from making a purchase, though. I like my Pavlovian way of making my tea . . . ;)
Great, comprehensive review!

Tea is the water of life! (Reply to this comment)

My kettles invariably fall apart after a few years, but this sounds sturdy. And I'd prefer not to have a whistle -- it upsets the cats to hear that noise! Thanks for the useful information.
(I, too, have been known to get cozy with the lowly tea bag and microwave. Don't tell ....)
