Pros: Small and powerful. The elph is a great investment
Cons: APS film is expensive to develop.
The Bottom Line: I love this camera and take it everywhere with me because of its size and the quality of the pictures that it takes. I recommend this camera to anyone.
cowtipperliz's Full Review: Canon Elph Z3 APS Film Camera
I have owned my elph for over a year now and it has traveled with me through Europe, across the US, and is with me every day in my purse or backpack. I bought the camera to go with me to Ireland and Germany, and I'm so glad that I bought it. I was attracted to the elph because of it's small size and silver color, what can I say, I'm attracted to the snazzy color of silver. I have never regretted buying it. The pictures all came out from Europe. The flash sometimes corrects for low light and scares people with the multiple flash, but other than that, I haven't had any problems with the camera. It came with a nice leather carrying case that I still use and is small enough to fit most anywhere, which is good when traveling.
The only issue is the APS film, which can be expensive to process, but the pictures are amazing. There are three settings on the camera that deal with different sizes of pictures, from normal to panaramic, which is wonderful for nature shots, like a spread out view of the ocean. The ease of use of the camera is wonderful, as you can switch between film speeds and from color to black and white with no difficulties. I would recommend this camera to anyone, and I like it so much that I am planning on buying the digital elph also.
