Pros: Low price with good features. Hard to beat in it's class-price range
Cons: 1.3 mp camera. Best with manual override for Low light. Software weak.
The Bottom Line: For the features-cost of cameras in this range, it's tops. Rechargable batteries more memory a must. Software could be improved. Great for packing around every day. Brand name camera.

| satkins93's Full Review: Canon PowerShot A10 Digital Camera |
I looked over all cameras and reviews in the 1.3-2mp with Zoom lens. What I came up with for the money was this camera. Note: With digital camera technology changing very rapidly I chose not to spent more at this time for a digital camera.
At 1.3mp with a 3x OPTICAL zoom (35-105mm). From a real camera company with camera friendly features built in. No worry about breaking or lost camera for this price. Very easy to pack around on day trips.
Quick point and shoot with about a 2-3 second delay between shots. Good pictures prints at 5x7, fuzzy as per 1.3 mp but again what I expected for the price.
Software was weak, I in general found computer companies making cameras to have a 2nd rate cameras with good software. Canon makes a good camera with so-so software.
Batteries I bought at Fry's were the lastest 1800mv Nickel Metal-Hydride. Cost about $20 for 8 plus a charger for under $20. Two sets took about 125 pictures.
Extra type CF1 memory stick of 128k under $60 worked just fine giving me 171 (1280x960)high res pic's 270 with more picture compression. I could have used the 1024x768 with about 400 pictures or the 640x480 with over 800 pic's.
Ritz had it for $187.00. Less online but I wanted a local shop where I could return and ask questions about the camera. Extras for this or any camera cost about $100 more.
