A great surprise

Pros: Great quality, fast, cool looks

Cons: Power by USB could be big disadvantage for weaker power sources

I've worked with a lot of affordable-range scanners, and till now this is the best. First, it's this new Canon technology, from which all the advantages derive. You'll first be attracted by its cool looks: extra slim, metalic color, really light weight. Then, you'll notice the high-speed of scanning. And finally, after the picture is downloaded, you'll be amazed by the high quality of the scan.
Personally, I like the fact that it doesn't have a power source, instead sucking his power through the USB cable, but this may be a disadvantage for people with "over-heated" power sources (like those with AMD computers).
