Pros: small and lightweight. Excellent picture quality. Multi-function button is very useful.
Cons: Slow scan speed for high quality imaging.
The Bottom Line: Great little scanner, if you don't need blazing speed.

| dgprocess's Full Review: Canon CanoScan N1220U Flatbed Scanner |
I've had this scanner for 3 years now, and have been very pleased with it. The image quality is excellent. I like how small and light the scanner is- it takes up no space on my desk (you can even store it sideways). I've used it for web publishing, scanning in photographs, and using images in computerized experiments. It is quite easy to use and comes with some handy software if you don't already have photoimaging software.
The one drawback is that the scan speed is quite slow- especially if you scan at over 300 dpi.
Despite the slow scanning, I am very happy with the CanoScan.
