| JuiceJW's Full Review: Canon Elph 240 APS Film Camera |
When it comes to APS Cameras there is not doubt that the Canon ELPH series is top of the line. In just about any picture related technology, you should always check the Canon made items first...BUT...the question is not whether or not the ELPH is the best camera on the market...the question is should you purchase the ELPH over a digital camera?
When it comes down to it you want a tangible picture. You want a picture you can hold, put on your wall, etc. Now dont get me wrong digital camera pictures can be developed as well as printed, but as of now unless your willing to shell out a lot of money for high quality digital, your gonna get better pictures with the APS Canon.
If you are in the market for a new camera, I would have to save the money and go with a Canon ELPH. The ELPH's quality is unmatched, and although you cant load the pictures directly onto a computer, a scanner works equally as well. The only reason I use a digital camera is because my JVC-DVM70U Digital Camcorder also takes still pictures. But when I am out for the sole purpose of taking pictures, my ELPH is unbeatable...
